Getting Started with Kontrolux

Work in progress — open-source beta coming within 2 months.

Overview

Kontrolux is a local-first home control platform designed to replace slow or unreliable vendor apps. With a modular stack — Core, Link, Relay, and Grid — you can manage your smart home devices privately and efficiently.

Prepare Your System

  1. Choose your host: Use a Raspberry Pi, Windows, or Linux system to run Core.
  2. Install dependencies: Ensure Python 3.11+ (or Docker) is installed. We'll provide an installer when the beta is ready.
  3. Network setup: Your host device should stay online on your local network (Ethernet preferred).

What You'll Be Able to Do

Timeline
